Efficient Recycling of Scrap Metal

Wouldn’t it be nice to know that all of the scrap metal you recycle is processed efficiently and in an environmentally safe way? That’s exactly what we promise for all scrap metal received, including junk cars, appliances, aluminum cans, batteries, etc.

We also have roll-off containers, dump trailers, and drop decks available. We will drop off what you need and also pick it up.

John's Auto Parts buys scrap metal from the public or commercial industry at all of our six locations.
Ferrous Scrap

Ferrous Scrap Recycling

Steel is the most-recycled material both in the United States and worldwide. In the United States alone, 74 million metric tons of ferrous scrap were processed by the scrap recycling industry last year – more than 55 percent of the volume of all domestically processed material.

Obsolete ferrous scrap is recovered from automobiles, steel structures, household appliances, railroad tracks, ships, farm equipment, and other sources. In addition, scrap generated from industrial and manufacturing sources accounts for approximately half of the ferrous scrap supply. Our number of years in business, wide selection, and the number of facilities differentiate us from our competitors.

Nonferrous Scrap Recycling

Nonferrous metals, including aluminum, copper, lead, nickel, zinc, and others, are among the few materials that do not degrade or lose their chemical or physical properties in the recycling process. As a result, nonferrous metals have the capacity to be recycled an infinite number of times.
